People Operations Specialist - Hybrid - £38,000-£40,000

Our client is an exciting, international not-for-profit organisation based in central Cambridge, looking for a People Operations Specialist to support the wider HR team and organisation.

This cross-functional role requires a unique mix of skills and experience and will suit a processed and organised individual, with a customer-service focus and a commitment to compliance.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement and maintain effective and streamlined operational people processes and systems
  • Deliver high quality, timely and accurate HR information and reporting to internal stakeholders, to aid analysis and decision-making
  • Ensure the smooth running of payroll and benefits, including oversight of payroll instructions to the finance team
  • Manage their business sponsor licence process
  • Manage, maintain and develop the newly implemented HRIS and ATS systems
  • Close management of 2 people administrators

The successful candidate will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment and immigration law
  • Thorough understanding of payroll processes
  • Proven people management experience
  • Substantial experience in HRIS management
  • Experience of recruitment processes
