Our client is a dynamic, fast-growing manufacturing SME based in London. They are seeking an exceptional individual to join their Board as a Non-Executive Director, to help introduce a greater level of governance and offer strategic insight as the business continues to grow.
Non-Executive Director – The Role:
They are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional with a strong background in SME leadership to assume the role of Non-Executive Director. As a key member of our client's leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction of the business and ensuring its effective governance.
Non-Executive Director - Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong and ethical leadership as the Non-Executive Director of the Board
- Collaborate with fellow Directors to set the strategic vision and goals of the charity
- Oversee and enhance the governance framework, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Act as a liaison between the Board and the management team, facilitating effective communication and decision-making
Non-Executive Director - You:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a fast growing SME, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in a NED / non-executive director / chair role is desirable but not essential
- Strong understanding of best governance practices
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and inspire others
- Excellent communication and advocacy abilities
- A collaborative and adaptable mindset with the capacity to work effectively as part of a team
