We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager (Level 5) to join our team at IRIS Software Group covering payment solutions.

The position is a critical role responsible for managing and developing the payment solutions across the entire IRIS portfolio of products. You will be accountable for shaping the development of our payment solutions across the portfolio, working with, and feeding into the respective product roadmaps.

As an expert in creating clear and concise customer and outcome-focused requirements, you will be responsible for ensuring the product roadmaps aligns with our strategic objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for translating the payment product vision into development deliverables, and ensuring the key objectives and results are met.

You will be responsible for the commercial prioritization of your backlog, as well as creating business cases for larger initiatives. To be successful, you must have experience working directly with online payment solutions, as well as closely collaborating with technical resources while solutions are in motion. You will be responsible for ensuring the technical delivery meets the business need, as well as updating and regularly communicating with internal stakeholders.

This role requires a background in product management, including payment gateways, 3rd party relationship management, and PCI compliance experience. The ability to collaborate within a wider product team to ensure payment solutions feed into the development roadmap is essential. Responsibilities

  • Establish and drive a strategy of growth and road maps for the customer facing payment solutions.
  • Feed into roadmaps of all products with payment processing capability.
  • Understand the market and competitors and seek out enhancements to give the payment solutions a competitive advantage.
  • Deal with escalations from the wider team regard to payment processing
  • Ensure that the system is PCI compliant and that, on an ongoing basis, enhancements and updates are included in the roadmap to maintain compliance

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experienced product manager with background in online payment solutions.
  • Experience of working with product management, sales, channel marketing, corporate marketing, marketing communications, technical support, development, finance, operations and other stakeholders to ensure that product is effectively introduced and sustained in the market
  • Experience of payment compliance and working with 3rd parties
  • Demonstrable experience of engaging with and putting the customer first
  • Disciplined management ability: caring about process, quality, setting and managing expectations
