We are excited to announce the opportunity to join our Marketing and Communications Team overseeing our Car Club operations at Enterprise Mobility' European Head Office in Egham, Surrey.

If you are looking to get a holistic understanding as to how different marketing strategies, mechanics and tactics converge to propel a brand and business forwards, whilst being given a tangible role in making it all happen, this internship is for you.

As the Enterprise Car Club (ECC) intern, you'll not only understand our overall approach, but you'll take ownership of your own projects, get exposure to a wide range of activities and have genuine voice within the team.

This internship position would suit someone keen to fully understand a brand's full marketing ecosystem, getting directly involved in projects spanning both digital and non-digital channels.

This person needs to be good understanding complex problems, getting to grips with new software swiftly and handling complex data/spreadsheets. On top of a head for numbers the ideal candidate would be comfortable when managing more creative elements, for example copy writing with an ability to draft website/email copy using the brand's voice, and appraising creative design work. To do this all well they must be organized, reliable and have an eagle eye for detail.

The ECC Marketing Intern will support the implementation marketing strategies and tactics and be giving responsibility to deliver key elements. They will also be encouraged to contribute their own original and innovative ideas. The team has a start-up feel and is looking for someone dynamic and entrepreneurially minded get stuck-in, be ‘can-do' and make a tangible difference.

This role will join an existing ECC Marketing teamwill and work with a number of third-party marketing and fulfillment agencies, as well as a wealth of internal stakeholders across the wider EU Marketing and ECC Operations team.

Responsibilities

  • Support organic and paid social strategies – working directly on our owned channels (suggesting posts, creating image/copy for posts and monitoring performance) and also working with a third-party social agency on larger paid activity
  • Assist the delivery of different promotional mechanics – supporting the set-up of the fulfilment processes, origination of creative, working with Legal to create T&Cs, monitoring performance, and suggesting improvements
  • Coordinate and support implementation of national and geo-tailored marketing projects as assigned – e.g., direct mail, door drop, local press, geo-specific social.
  • Coordinate the production of creative designs and printed materials – receiving requests from the business, briefing creative studio/agency, reviewing designs, overseeing production/filming, managing stakeholder approvals, working with suppliers to arrange production and managing costs
  • Assisting with updates to web pages and ECC mobile app using Adobe Experience Manager
  • Copywrite member comms – email, mobile app message, blog posts, website content
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns learning to use specialist email delivery software
  • Collate and support the interrogation of performance metrics and reporting – obtaining data from our in-house software, inputting it into spreadsheets/reports and learning to extract insight/meaning
  • Respond to third party enquiries from stakeholders internally and externally. Internally this will involve liaising with the different regional ECC/ERAC teams who's requirements will vary location to location.
  • Assist in managing the various software platforms that are used within the department including Trello, AEM, CANVA, Production files
  • Desk research, for example researching local marketing tactics, channels, community events and possible brand partners.
  • Provide general support to Marketing Team as needed
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties and special marketing projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven and motivated
  • The ability to work independently and achieve results
  • Able to multitask juggling a number of complex projects simultaneously while managing time effectively
  • Have a keen interest in the holistic marketing mix
  • An aptitude for numbers & analytics (Microsoft Excel skills preferred, although not essential)
  • Digital & tech savvy – familiar with different social/digital channels, with an aptitude to quickly pick-up a number of new digital programmes
  • Undertaking a Marketing related degree subject
  • Basic experience of graphic design or web packages such as illustrator, InDesign, CANVA, Adobe Experient Manager (preferred, although not essential)

Additional Information

  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Salary: £20,000 per annum
  • Duration: The Internship will run from Summer 2025 for 12 months
  • Location: Egham, Surrey, TW20 9FB (Plenty of free on site parking and approx. 10 minutes walk from Egham station)
