Job Title: Route Planning Manager

Position Overview:
The Route Scheduling Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising the movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, excellent organisational skills, and an in-depth understanding of the local geography to ensure timely and cost-effective routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule the daily routes and collections ensuring efficiency and punctuality.
- Utilise geographical knowledge of Wrexham and surrounding areas to optimise delivery routes and minimise transit times.
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to manage schedules and address any issues that arise.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any logistical problems promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of collection schedules, routes, and client interactions.
- Analyse logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on delivery statuses and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics scheduling, dispatching, or a similar role.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Wrexham and the surrounding areas.
