The Role
In this role, you'll work closely with senior scientists on the development and optimisation of bespoke PCR assays, contributing to the next generation of diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments with minimal supervision
- Record detailed observations in laboratory books, prepare technical reports and write SOPs
- Analyse data, plan and design follow-up studies, and troubleshoot assay performance
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the line manager and team members

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a motivated Scientist I with a passion for innovation in molecular diagnostics. About you:
- BSc/MSc in a relevant scientific field with at least 1 year of experience
- Solid knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry, or related disciplines
- Skilled in experimental data analysis and interpretation
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving mindset
- Proficient in communicating scientific findings both verbally and in writing
You may also have:
- Experience with IVD Molecular Diagnostics
- Familiarity with ISO13485, ISO15189, or ISO17025 standards
- Hands-on experience with qPCR, probe-based PCR, and LAMP amplification
