Senior Business Development Manager

A global law firm is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to support their Corporate practice. Managing an experienced team, the Senior BDM will create and deliver business development initiatives in line with the firm's strategy and serve as a trusted adviser to lawyers within the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement client and marketing strategies for Corporate Transactions & Advisory, Financial Institutions M&A, Antitrust, Tech/Digital, and Intellectual Property groups.
  • Boost visibility and leverage the firm's global product and sector expertise in client relationship-building efforts.
  • Evaluate financial performance from a client perspective.
  • Collaborate with Practice Area Leaders and Managers to execute client, product, and sector strategies.
  • Assist lateral hires with client integration and adherence to firm protocols.
  • Encourage and lead on cross selling
  • Maximize client relationship-building opportunities through strategic marketing and events.
  • Lead must-win proposals, focusing on Corporate clients.
  • Apply best practices in the legal directory process to maintain and improve rankings.

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in business development within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing effective business development and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
