We are looking for an experienced Network Architect with a strong background in Juniper technologies. We have an exciting opportunity to work on a critical project to ensure the ongoing security and functionality of our clients network infrastructure (and potential for other projects upon completion).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-level designs and support engineers with detailed implementation plans.
- Gather requirements and document configurations meticulously, even when original documentation is missing.
- Provide support to the engineers to ensure seamless operation of firewalls and network devices through the transition.
- Providing advice/guidance and leading the network engineers to successfully deliver the project.
- Provide expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and Layer 2/Layer 3 networks.
- Utilize extensive experience with Juniper/Junos, specifically SRX series firewalls (4300/4600, 3600/5800/1400/4000/1500).
Requirements:
- Proven ability to document and gather requirements effectively, especially in scenarios with incomplete original documentation.
- Strong background in networking, ensuring ongoing functionality of firewalls and devices.
- Expertise in designing and supporting complex network infrastructures.
- Proficiency in OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
- Deep understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network operations.
- Extensive experience with Juniper/Junos, particularly SRX series firewalls.
