We are a recognised name in the building materials sector and support the sector in so many ways. With a network that spans nearly £40 billion in revenue to the UK economy the PA role will support the CEO in a diverse and multi-faceted role.

The role of PA – Personal Assistant - Office Manager

  • Being responsible for CEO's diary management (Outlook)
  • Ensuring CEO has all information, itineraries and papers for external meetings and upcoming appointments
  • Making necessary travel arrangements including flights, train tickets, hotels, car parking etc...
  • Organising and up-keeping all upcoming presentations for CEO
  • Preparation of papers for Board meetings and taking minutes of meetings
  • Liaising with Board members regarding any hotel accommodation, travel etc. when required
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required by the CEO

Office Management

  • Oversee the management of the utilities and facilities for Head Office.
  • Manage Business Admin Support member of staff
  • Being the main point of contact for all tenants regarding any concerns or enquiries about their lease
  • Advertising and securing new tenants for all empty properties
  • Renewing any existing leases that have reached the end of their contract
  • Being responsible for property maintenance (e.g., any repairs on the building, garden and landscaping etc...)

Skills and Experience required for the role of PA – Personal Assistant - Office Manager

  • Competent and methodical organiser and administrator, able to plan own workload and manage conflicting priorities
  • Good English literacy and communication skills
  • Able to communicate with people at all levels by phone, e-mail and in person.
  • Smart personal appearance.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications - particularly PowerPoint.
  • Have a ‘can do' attitude and be willing to be flexible and play a key part in a small team.
  • Have experience working in an office environment in a similar role including working as a Personal Assistant to a senior executive.
  • Flexibility of working hours and contact outside of normal working hours on occasion
