Robert Half is recruiting a Business Operations Manager on behalf of a large professional services firm which specialises in financial services products, in Central London. They have a unique culture of a large, listed business with a people-first approach. The role is in the office five times a week and moves to three times a week after probation.
The role offers a variety of projects and consistent opportunities to problem-solve multiple business processes and areas. The Business Operations Manager will be part of a strong Operations team who strive to become the centre of excellence within the business. You will be a crucial part in ensuring business effectiveness and efficiency as you drive operational success across multiple business areas. Your work will include strategic, operational, management information, stakeholder management elements.
You will be supporting the pensions team within the business, however, you do not need to have prior pensions experience. You will have exposure to very senior stakeholders and influence business strategy and operations.
Requirements;
- At least 5 years in an operational role or similar.
- An ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose and test new solutions. You will be comfortable challenging people and educating on new practices.
- Generate regular packs of Management Information to help leadership make informed, insight driven and strategic decisions, including financial performance of revenues and profitability, sales, resourcing and people metrics.
- An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise as required.
- Act as a trusted partner to Managing Directors of pensions on all matters related to business strategy, business performance and people matters.
