Are you a dedicated and experienced professional in the field of children's care, with a passion for supporting those with complex needs and learning disabilities? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a company as the Registered Head of Care for a new service in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Role Overview:

As the Registered Head of Care, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment and management of the new service. Working closely with a dedicated team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each child. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the care team to provide exceptional support to children with complex needs and learning disabilities.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring individualised care and support.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and independence of each child.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting continuous professional development and a culture of excellence.
  • Establish effective communication channels with families, guardians, and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in children and young people, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in managing care services for children with complex needs and learning disabilities.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.
