The Specialist Mortgage Advisor Role
As the Specialist Mortgage Broker for the company, you will discuss clients' requirements and provide advice and support to secure the best financial solution to meet their needs. Provided with leads through a vast network of introducers, referrals and direct enquiries, there will be a range of buy to let, bridging and residential mortgage cases to advise on, alongside your buy to let cases, you will also have the opportunity to advise on bridging and commercial mortgage cases.
You'll have support from an experienced administration team and refer protection cases over to the in-house protection advisory team, allowing you more time to dedicate to your mortgage clients.
Specialist Mortgage Advisor key responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on buy to let, bridging and residential mortgage enquiries
- Helping clients secure the most suitable mortgage products, tailored to their financial circumstances.
- Assess clients' financial information, creditworthiness, and eligibility
- Analyse and compare mortgage products from various lenders
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and introducers
- Maintain clear communication between the support, administration and protection teams

Specialist Mortgage Advisor desired skills and experience
- Experienced residential Mortgage Advisor
- Experience in buy to let mortgages (essential)
- Experience in bridging (desirable)
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Genuine and honest approach
- Proactive and driven
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to manage your time effectively
