Voice Telecoms Technician

Our prestigious Global Investment Bank client is looking for an inside IR35 contract Voice Telecoms Specialist to join its telecommunications team . As a Voice Telecoms Support Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and administering telephone systems, as well as providing support to end-users. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in Cisco IP Telephony, video conferencing systems, trading voice turrets, SIP service management, and voice recording technologies.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Support and administration of Cisco CUCM and video technology endpoints.
  • Assist customer users with voice technology usage.
  • Install and configure Cisco desk phones, BlackBerry Work mobile phones, Jabber software, and trading turrets.
  • Support the Compliance department with NICE NTR voice recording playback and adherence to regulatory voice recording requirements.
  • Manage voice endpoint assets and support incident and request ticket queues to exceed SLAs.
  • Provide technical support and administration for phones (desk & mobiles) and Cisco WebEx meeting room equipment.
  • Engage in strategy, design, meetings, discussions, and projects related to voice telecommunications.
  • Manage ordering, stock management, reporting, statistics, and service integrity checking.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of supporting and managing Cisco voice CUCM and BlackBerry Work provisioning.
  • Good understanding of NICE NTR voice recording technology.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco voice telecommunication systems.
  • Experience with Nice Recording and IPC trading endpoints is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the service team effectively.
  • Flexibility and a ‘can do' attitude, with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service management and experience using Service Now.
  • Ability to multitask and remain focused under pressure.
  • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in document and report writing.
