Your new role
As an Accounts Payable Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Senior Finance Administrator and Finance Supervisor in meeting departmental goals.
- Accurately processing high volumes of multi-currency purchase invoices through invoice matching and managerial approval procedures.
- Reviewing and resolving invoice queries promptly, with support from your line manager as needed.
- Maintaining effective communication with both internal teams and external suppliers.
- Regularly reconciling supplier statements under your control, including managing supplier discounts.
- Setting up new suppliers.
- Performing any other ad-hoc accounts duties as requested by line management.
- Conducting your duties in accordance with the Dignity at Work Policy, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and our values of integrity, intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- A highly motivated, assertive, and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication, computer, and organisational skills.
- The ability to prioritise and follow through in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, as accuracy is crucial in all aspects of the role.
- Proficient in MS Excel, particularly with Pivot tables.
- Ability to work well under time constraints.
- Proactive in driving continuous improvement.
- Experience with VAT invoices from across Europe is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
