Account Executive

An exciting opportunity within a growing HVAC business has become available for an Account Executive to support the team in the London and Southeast of England. As a business experience excellent success, and as a result high levels of growth, the business is keen to develop their sales and account management function, in order to ensure they can continue to deliver the high levels of customer service and care that they are known for.

The position holder will be joining an established team to support the accounts in that area. You will be working alongside the dedicated Account Managers to action customer queries and compiling quotations.

Role and Responsibilities

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with Account Managers in the management of accounts ensuring excellent customer service
  • Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with customers
  • Providing renewal quotations for contacts at expiry and proactively contacting clients to convert these quotations to purchase orders
  • Creating new and renewed contracts on the company system in order to hand them to the service team to book in first visits to the client site
  • Handling customer issues, seeking proactive resolutions and escalating queries further than can not be actioned
  • Identifying areas that could lead to lower customer service quality and finding solutions to action this before clients raise concerns
  • Updating asset lists and schedules on the company system
  • Communicating with subcontractors for pricing in order to accurately formulate quotations
  • Setting up assessment jobs on the system and ensuring that invoicing is done after completion
  • Compiling FGas logbooks on behalf of clients as it is needed

What You Will Need To Apply:

The business is keen to hear from experienced professionals, ideally within the HVAC industry. Applicants should have excellent customer service and communication skills, be capable of delivery high levels of service and productively using relationships to business advantage, as well as possessing good problem-solving skills and a quick-thinking mindset. Previous account management or support work is sought for this role. Exposure to job management systems would be beneficial.

What You Will Get In Return:

The successful candidate for this role can expect a starting salary in the region of £35,000 to accompany an appealing benefits package including excellent bonus potential based on sales work, a company car or equivalent allowance, useful and attractive monetary and reward incentives, as well as a good holiday and pension allowance. This role can be worked on a hybrid basis, with 3 days a week in the office.
