If you have shipping experience and strong administration skills, then this Operations Assistant role could be the perfect career move for you.
Some of your duties will include:
- Supervising the logistics function and planning daily operational issues
- Monitoring operational KPIs and ensuring customer expectations were met
- Ensuring that client order requirements were costed and invoiced correctly
- Completing quotations for clients and following up to ascertain clients interest
- Maximising and consolidating containers used in order to increase profit
- Participating in the implementation of operational projects and new processes
