Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a SEND school environment. The role involves providing 1:1 and small group support to children with ASD, PMLD, CLD, and Medical Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer personalised 1:1 support in a SEND school setting.
- Collaborate closely with another staff member to ensure the child's needs are effectively met.
- Utilise Team-Teach techniques to manage challenging behaviours.
- Support the child's learning and development, considering their unique needs and abilities.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEND children is essential.
- Team-Teach training certification is a must.
- Strong ability to work effectively within a team.
- High proficiency in English.
