Responsibilities:
- Carry out general mechanical repairs and maintenance on various vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform tyre fitting and balancing services with accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and tread depth, recommending appropriate replacements if necessary.
- Conduct wheel alignment and ensure precise adjustments are made.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client queries and concerns professionally.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements, attending training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Sound understanding of vehicle mechanics and ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
- Enough skills and experience as a car mechanic in motor trade
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter with solid mechanical knowledge is essential.
- Proven expertise in performing tyre fitting, balancing, and wheel alignment.
- Familiarity with various tyre brands and models.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- A candidate must be eligible to work in the UK(non-U.K citizen/resident : a skilled worker visa, PSW, defendant visa etc)
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics and tyre fitting are preferred.
