EDI Specialist: £35-45k - Glasgow (Hybrid)
My client a leading national supplier is on the lookout for a new EDI Specialist to join their existing team. This role would see the candidate work with our external partners to design, maintain and monitor our many and complex EDI connections, whilst also assisting the ERP developers to ensure changes or additions to ERP processes align with EDI requirements.
This role will be based from my clients Glasgow office, and would require office travel 3 days per week (with scope to reduce this post probation).
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day review of any file transfer errors that have occurred and to determine the cause of the error - e.g. service outage, data error, etc. Correct and re-send as required; or highlight error to relevant person / department.
- Updating AS2 certificates (using ArcESB)
- Adding new AS2 connections (via ArcESB)
- Setting up new SFTP and FTP connections as required.
- Adding new TGMS VAN trading relationships.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding EDI file transfers.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding new EDI projects
- Developing and testing new mappings for any new customer or supplier projects using Altova Mapforce.
- Scheduling mapping jobs to be executed using Altova FlowForce.
- Reviewing any errors occurring during FlowForce operations, and correct and re-sending the file as required; or highlight error to relevant person / department.
- Documenting EDI processing.
Requirements:
- 2 years demonstratable experience in EDI Development
- SQL (Desirable)
- ArcESB & Altova (Desirable, although training will be provided)
