Customer Service Advisor (Contract)

We're looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join a thriving Customer Service Centre on a 6-month FTC in Edinburgh. This varied role will be part of a critical frontline team, responsible for handling phone calls from customers on online access setups and maintenance.

You will work different shifts including 8:30 - 4:30, 9-5 and 9:30-5:30, with a salary between £22,000-£24,000.

Here are some of the activities you'll get involved with as a Customer Service Advisor:

  • Handling all phone calls to the highest standard
  • Developing good working relationships and rapport with customers
  • Building and maintaining relationships with other internal departments, understanding the value that each team brings toward shared goals
  • Demonstrating empathy and understanding whilst still considering regulatory requirements and ensuring any actions are identified and appropriately raised
  • Going the extra mile; being an advocate for customers
  • Using clear and concise communication that is appropriate for the audience, ensuring all required actions are explained accurately
  • Liaising with our stakeholders and colleagues to support identified training and education opportunities
  • Accurately updating the call tagging software to reflect the nature and type of call
