Security Officer – The Role:

We'll see you at Security!

We are looking for a Security Officer for our North Star and Queens Drive campuses each, working full time during term time.

In this role, your primary goal will be the identification and prevention of situations that may put students, staff, visitors or facilities at risk. You will promote positive attitudes of student responsibility and ensure the security of the Estate and equipment.

You will help prevent theft and damage and deal with emergency situations. You will need to have good physical fitness to remain active throughout the day and while patrolling the site.

Security Officer – You:

- Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and mathematics. If not held, job holder

will be required to gain these within an agreed timeframe

  • Outstanding customer service skills/ experience
  • Suitability to work in an environment with minors and vulnerable adults, exceptional
  • Ability to deal with difficult customers in a polite and professional manner

Experience in Security is not essential for this role, but you will be provided with full training and assistance from the existing team.
