My client, an industry leading blue chip business, is currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join their growing Commercial Finance team. As the Finance Business Partner you will be supporting the Head of Commercial Finance in the delivery of reporting requirements across the UK. Driving cost focus and helping the senior leadership team deliver its profit objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Review monthly P&Ls with Ops Directors to develop and drive performance reviews.
Work with Ops Directors to establish performance turnaround plans where required.
Team to post accurate accruals and prepayments. Develop reporting to monitor and track tasking challenges.
Investigate and explain variances arising.
Update monthly board report and associated commentary.
Deputise for Head of Department when required at senior management trading and budget meetings.
Calculate monthly / quarterly and annual commissions and bonuses based upon set criteria.
Ensure agreement on payments with the Leadership team and information sent to the payroll department to ensure timely payment.
Ensure accruals are in line with the projected outlook and investigate variances arising.
Team is responsible for queries arising.
Assist in the production of the Quarterly Forecast and Annual Budget
Responsible for ensuring uploads timely and accurate.
Liaise with Key Business stakeholders (internal & external) to ensure costs are accurately reflected.
Update Key Finance Slides & Bridges for the Annual Budget
Provide analysis for Group Reporting requirements.
To provide support for adhoc projects and activities
Drive process improvements and efficiencies whilst increasing the quality of the activities.
Professional accountancy body qualification in CIMA, ACCA or ACA
Business Partnering experience.
Positive, professional can do attitude.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
