Main responsibilities:
- Traveling to work or clients' locations.
- Setting up and calibrating NDT equipment.
- Carry out Non-Destructive Tests on welds, structures and materials using non-destructive techniques in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
- Interpret and evaluate test results in line with given acceptance standards.
- Produce clear and concise test reports.
- Always display a high level of integrity and professionalism.
- Maintaining NDT equipment.
- Assist the NDT Lead with basic administrative duties when required.
Requirements:
- Full driving license
- Previous NDT experience (+3 years minimum)
- PCN (Level II) Qualifications in the following - MPI, DPI
- PCN LII VT is desirable but not essential as training can be provided
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Willing to travel and work away from home when required
- Competent in the full suite of Microsoft Office Software (word, excel, outlook etc)
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Willingness to gain other NDT qualifications if required by the company
