Hyde is looking to recruit a Fire Safety Technical Coordinator, working in the fire risk assessment (FRA) team.

As a Fire Safety Technical Coordinator at Hyde you will be working within the Safer Homes and Neighbourhoods division, managing the programme of fire risk assessments and monitoring completion of fire risk actions by teams across the business and our contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as first point of contact for any complex queries relating to fire risk assessments.
  • Arranging access to Hyde properties, liaising with customers and contractors.
  • Ensuring all fire risk assessments are kept up to date and current, and carried out to current required standards and within Group policy guidelines.
  • Work with the team to ensure robust data integrity across all compliance areas including the maintenance of databases.
  • Assist in the resolution of complaints at their early stages in a timely manner to resolve customer issues.
  • Report on the progress of the programme to the fire risk assessment manager, and other senior managers in the directorate.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience of working as a Fire Safety Coordinator or similar role.
  • Good understanding of UK fire safety regulations and legislation and familiarity with fire risk assessments.
  • Housing/residential background desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and compliant records and documentation.
  • Experience of working with fire risk assessment databases and Microsoft excel desireable
