This well-established social welfare charity is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing team on a permanent basis. This newly created role will be fully responsible for all things financial management across the charity, working with a variety of stakeholders across the seniority spectrum to enable them to deliver on targets in line with the charity's ambitious strategic goals.

The key duties of this Finance Business Partner are as follows:

  • Full responsibility for coordinating the development of the annual budget.
  • Take the lead in the production of the monthly management accounts, producing in depth analysis on trends and variances for presentation to the SLT.
  • Provide critical support in the development of the new rolling strategic plan.
  • Work in close partnership with a variety of stakeholders across the charity, providing insightful analysis into their financial performance, challenging assumptions as required.
  • Take the lead in the development of a robust project accounting procedure for the charity, ensuring all parties involved are bought into the plan and know of their deliverables.
  • Ensure that all quarterly forecasts and half-yearly reforecasts are accurately produced in a timely fashion.
  • Present flash income reports to senior leadership team on a regular basis.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Business Partnering professional who is now ready to take the next step in their career by assuming full responsibility for an ever-evolving function which is crucial to the charity's future growth plans. Furthermore, the organisation is currently working on a hybrid working model, with employees only required to be in the offices in Central London for one day per week, and the rest from home.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally, a background working in the charity sector.
  • Demonstrable experience working in an FP&A or business partnering role of a similar capacity.
  • Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Reached the final level of their accountancy qualification and be actively studying.
