Specialising in sectors such as equity release and residential conveyancing, our client has a strong reputation for delivering outstanding service and expertise.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Legal Cashier to join our client's professional finance team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate processing of financial transactions and maintaining strict compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SARs). This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys working to deadlines while engaging with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process transactions, ensuring timely completions while adhering to SARs.
  • Manage receipts, billing, invoicing, and payments to clients, lenders, and third parties.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for operational teams, assisting in resolving residual balance issues.
  • Process purchase invoices and ensure adherence to payment terms.
  • Support the Lead Cashier and Management Accountant with month-end tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a finance, accounts, or transactional role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of payments, receipts, and ledger accounting.
  • Previous experience in legal finance is desired.
  • Qualification in accounting or bookkeeping is desired.
