Project Manager
The Role
We are thrilled to announce a distinctive opportunity for a Project Manager position in the Oil and Gas sector, specializing in managed pressure drilling (MPD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee projects involving the supply, rental, and recertification of MPD integration joints and associated services.
- Client Relations: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with customers and clients.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with internal departments to ensure project timelines are met.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, employing cost-effective strategies.
- Financial Oversight: Track expenses and report on budget status, making necessary adjustments to meet financial targets.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to minimize risks and their impact on project timelines.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve engineering and scheduling challenges related to projects.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the QHSE department to ensure proper implementation of procedures and activities.
- Documentation: Maintain precise records of project activities and personnel/equipment utilization.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare quotations and proposal documents.
- Market Expansion: Support and promote efforts to expand OSI's presence in the MPD market.
- Business Development: Assist in business development initiatives.
- Status Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, risks, and issues.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure all contractual obligations are understood and met.
- Risk Communication: Raise concerns about project risks when necessary.
- Report Preparation: Prepare End of Well Reports and KPI reports.
- Contract and Invoice Coordination: Manage all contractual and invoicing requirements.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Leadership and Motivation: Display strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Self-Driven: Highly self-motivated with energy, pace, and enthusiasm.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills at all levels within and outside the company.
- Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Skilled in negotiation, coalition building, and conflict resolution.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to Detail: Exhibit strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Educational Background: A BSc or BEng in mechanical engineering or equivalent is advantageous.
- Industry Experience: Background in MPD-related services is advantageous.
