Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be supporting our Rugby based client with the permanent recruitment of a Financial Controller.
Ideally, we are seeking a CIMA qualified professional with experience within SME size businesses.
In a nutshell you will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role ensures the accuracy of financial documents, compliance with financial regulations, and the overall financial health of the organisation. The Financial Controller will also play a critical role in shaping the company's financial strategy and processes.
Financial Management:
Oversee all company accounts and investments.
Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with other department heads.
Monitor and analyse budget performance with commentary.
Accounting Operations:
Oversee the Finance and Administration department.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare all financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports, with commentary.
Strategic Planning:
Assist the Financial Director in developing financial strategies to support the company's long-term growth.
Analyse and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, and future revenue.
It is a mandatory requirement of the position that you have experience with a hands-on approach to manage, lead, and develop staff. In addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time office-based role with no hybrid working.
