We are currently seeking a talented Java Developer to join our client's dynamic team for a 6-month contract. As a Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and seamless implementation of software projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technological advancements in a diverse and collaborative environment.
?? Role Requirements:
Conduct research to identify security patterns in selected software technology stacks across Apps and APIs.
Develop reusable security packages or hardened tech stacks to integrate into various development projects.
Provide technical guidance and support for the seamless implementation of security packages.
Resolve technical implementation issues reported by software engineering teams during beta trials.
?? Skillset Required:
Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, with a strong emphasis on Java (Micronaut/Spring Boot).
Deep understanding of security design thinking, threat modelling, and secure coding techniques.
Extensive experience in security-focused software development (5+ years).
Hands-on experience in developing APIs using RESTful services, GraphQL, and gRPC. Knowledge of Node.js for server-side development is a plus.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Couchbase/Redis) and microservices architectures and their security implications.
Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), DevOps tools (GitHub Actions), and GitOps.
Experience with cloud-native services (e.g., Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).
