Our client has a permanent, full time vacancy for an Accounts Receivable Credit Controller, assisting the Accounts Manager to provide excellent customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring Accounts processes are followed to the highest standard.
You will liaise with suppliers, customers and colleagues on a day-to-day basis and provide support to the Account Manager as required.
The role:
- Effectively communicate with teammates at all levels across the Finance team, operating centres and the wider business.
- Ensure that the day-to-day operation of the Accounts function runs smoothly.
- The authorisation, coding, and payment of invoices
- Reconciliation of customer statements
- The maintenance of invoice logs and monthly accruals
- Ensure that debit balances, unallocated cash & unposted cash are minimal
- Liaison with internal departments and operation centres, to ensure prompt resolution of queries
- The provision of ad hoc information for customers
- To ensure that excellent customer service is always provided.
- Display effective problem solving and decision-making skills in handling customer issues
- Such other duties as requested by the Account Manager
Requirements:
- Experience in the use of Sage line 50
- A proven track record of excellent communication
- Dynamic, energetic and motivational skills
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- Customer service focused (both internal and external customers)
- Proactive and able to use initiative and work on own when required.
- Computer literate, with good Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
- Self-motivated, with high energy levels
