Project Planner - Required for our client for their unique project based in Havant. The Project Planner will be working for a Civil Engineering Contractor, who work on projects from conception through construction to project delivery. The companies' specialities span across a variety of different sectors including water and waste water, infrastructure and coastal protection. The Project Planner er will be working on a prestigious project in Hampshire.
Project Planner Position Remuneration
- Salary - Dependant on experience

Project Planner Position Requirements
- Construction related qualification
- 3 years' experience preferably on medium to large projects is desirable
- Experience in use of Microsoft Project is essential and Primavera P6 desirable
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programmes
- Understanding of the NEC construction contracts
- Knowledge of how to develop a programme in line with the requirements
- High level of attention to detail and excellent communication
- Experience of Earned Value Management desirable but not essential
- Experience of working on construction or Civil Engineering projects
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office programmes
- Full driving license
Project Planner Position Overview
- Reporting to the Deputy Project Director, employed on a permanent basis.
- Updating the main project programme on regular basis
- Produce a high level project programme once a month.
- Finalise the written narrative to accompany the contractual issue of the revised programme for acceptance
- Provide programme information to the project commercial team to assist with the production of the monthly commercial forecast
- Identification of programme slippage and explanation of the reason
