About the Role

Base Location: We're proud to offer a Flexible First approach to work, and this role is no exception. We will, however need you to be reasonably commutable to our Slough Heat & Power site, as you'll need to be in the office a few days per week.

Salary: £33,500 - £50,300 + up to 5% performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate data in support of network charging tariffs revenue up to £15m.
  • Responsible for accurate data to support operational budget forecasting up to £15m.
  • Responsible for resolving procurement process issues up to £1m.
  • Responsible for supporting establishment of financial processes for new businesses as they emerge.
  • Responsible for supporting the Business Coordinator & Lead Analyst role where required.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Experience within a role requiring a high standard of numeracy/literacy.
  • Experience in an analytical, financial or commercial role, ideally within the energy industry. Highly proficient user of MS Excel essential.
  • Confident in data processing, including cleaning, transforming, and aggregating data. Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Be able to identify problems, formulate relevant questions, and apply analytical thinking to solve problems.
  • Strong writing skills - able to create concise reports and procedures to a standard that can be submitted directly to external parties. Excellent time management skills, ability to effectively plan own time and prioritise workload to meet external deadlines.
  • Work well in a team, seeking responsibility, accountability, and ownership. Able to build internal relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels - effective and persuasive communicator.
