Ambitious PE backed business is looking for a Project Manager to lead integration projects post-acquisition. This is a great opportunity to join a business at the start of a high-growth phase, affording fantastic career opportunities and scope to develop professionally.
The role will be home based with nationwide travel expected on a weekly basis. You'd be able to manage your own diary around when site visits take place and some weeks this might be no site visits and other weeks, a couple. Driving license a must.
About the role
- You will work on multiple concurrent post-merger integration projects, to bring newly acquired businesses into the company.
- Projects will range across Finance, IT, HR and Ops domains and business change and communication will be a key factor in all.
- You will specifically manage the post-acquisition month 1 comms plan.
- Be responsible for updating and communicating company policy to newly acquired businesses.
- Document As-Is ways of working and business process as needed to ensure the delivery of integration projects.
- Manage 3rd parties as required where needed to deliver integration elements.
- Create deployment plans for IT / Tech related projects to manage downtime and go-live activities.
- Review project plans to ensure activities within your area are up to date on the PM system.
- Escalate any risks and issues identified and manage mitigating actions.
- Organise the booking and attendance of training sessions as required for business systems projects.
- Deal with system and people data, to enable the successful delivery of system integration projects.
- Support with the development of comms, training and other key information as needed for the integration projects.
- Help the Head of Projects with the creation and delivery of project and programme level reporting and continuous improvement of the young PMO.
- Provide project / administrative support as required.
About you
- A Project Manager with c.3 years minimum Project Management experience.
- Ideally a project management qualification such as APM or Prince 2
- A good understanding of risk and issue management.
- Experienced in project planning both creation and updating plans.
- Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Confident dealing with project stakeholders and 3rd parties.
- Lots of initiative, desires autonomy, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Well organised with great communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willing to undertake weekly national and some international travel to France / Germany.
- Full driving license and own car.
Desirable experience:
- Prior business integration or business change projects would be desirable but not essential.
- France or German language skills.
- Experience using Monday.com
