This is a sterling opportunity to join a reputable, well-established and successful law firm based in the heart of Windsor. Our client is looking for an ambitious and hard-working Paralegal who has a passion to develop their career within Criminal law. They are looking for someone who would like to qualify and will consider offering a training contract.
Key day to day tasks include:
- Managing Crown Court files
- Applying for Legal Aid applications
- Applying to CPS for evidence
- Preparing crown files and Magistrates Court files for billing
- Distributing evidence to Fee Earners
- Dealing with queries
- Attending Police stations
- Meeting clients in prison
- Taking instructions
- Making written applications to court
- Preparing Bail applications
- Preparing appeal documentation
- Assisting with Audit Preparation
- Preparing Proof
Essential requirements:
- Completion or near completion of LPC or SQE 1 and 2
- A keen interest and passion to pursue a career within Law, in particular Criminal Law
- Ideally you will have some experience working within a Law firm, however we would like to invite applications from candidates with the above criteria who have commercial work experience in other industries.
