Position: Groundworker
Location: Isle of Grain, Kent
**Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our client's team on an exciting project at a power plant located in the Isle of Grain. The role involves manual labour, including hand digging and breaking out concrete with pneumatic concrete hand breakers. No machinery will be involved; all work will be done using spades and hand tools.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hand digging using spades.
- Break out concrete with pneumatic concrete hand breakers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
**Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker or similar role.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
