Our client, a global organisation and leader in the finance and technology sector, is seeking highly motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional client service and data management to join their team and work in an exciting project. This is a 1-year temporary contract with a start date of 2nd December 2024. This is a remote role with onsite training in the City of London.

This position involves directly engaging with Issuers, Asset Managers, Hedge Fund managers and Private Investors. The candidate will often be their first point of contact, and queries need to be dealt with quickly and efficiently. They will independently manage the Structured notes client support help desk, collaborate with the internal teams to develop solutions to queries, and then clearly communicate back to the client.

Applicants should possess a unique combination of business insight and technical aptitude, as well as effective communication skills and ability to build relationships with various stakeholders. They will use these skills to extract, transform and load timely, accurate and comprehensive data accessible to the clients, playing a key role in empowering the clients to make well informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply problem-solving skills to manage the financial data, identify innovative workflow efficiencies, and establish links with key players in the financial market.
  • Maintain, improve, and deliver accurate, high-quality information.
  • Assist the client support help desk with escalated client inquiries, and up skill the clients through training and client calls.
  • Prioritise and manage multiple tasks related to maintaining and providing data.
  • Make use of your collaborative approach and exceptional relationship building and communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Develop subject matter expertise within the Structured Products (all asset class) space, and a variety of Client's internal software functions.
  • Ensure consistency, quality and timely product delivery while providing excellent service to internal and external customers.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor or/and Master's degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office tools.
  • A basic understanding of structured products, understanding of how they work from inception to maturity (additional training will be provided).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for client management.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of proven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a frequently changing environment.
  • Keen interest in financial markets is essential.
  • Genuine commitment to this role and desire to progress.
