Our Financial Crime Risk (FCR) & Compliance Business Control Office exists to identify and assess Financial Crime and Compliance risk across the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank first line of defence to ensure Financial Crime and Compliance controls satisfy legal and regulatory requirements. You will be helping to implement cultural change around Financial Crime and Compliance, facilitating collaboration across the lines of defence and divisions, and coordinating legal and regulatory obligations.

Your key responsibilities

  • Providing managerial oversight and Team leadership to develop, implement and manage the FCR framework across the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank
  • Developing, executing and delivering specific assigned FCR regulatory commitments (both internal and external requirements)
  • Implementing and embedding operationally effective and sustainable FCR processes and controls for specific control activities across the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank
  • Providing FCR guidance on complex issues across the Corporate Bank and Investment Bank first line of defence
  • Building and managing stakeholder relationships and achieve buy-in in the delivery of assigned responsibilities

Your skills and experience

  • Developed team building and leadership experience and qualities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • In-depth FCR technical knowledge with strong practical experience implementing and maintaining robust, sustainable and strategic frameworks
  • Detail focussed, process minded and applies critical analysis when assessing operational regulatory control activities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement/ management focus
  • Highly motivated self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic and fluid environment with progressive timelines
