Accounts Semi Senior / Senior - Peterborough
Are you a passionate and driven ACA/ACCA part-qualified/finalist with experience working in an accountancy practice? Our client, a well-established firm of chartered accountants and business advisors, is seeking an Accounts Semi Senior / Senior to join their dynamic team in Peterborough. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with diverse clients and make a significant impact on their businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking moderate to large accounts preparation assignments, including tax computations
- Preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns
- Reviewing own work and team members' work before passing to the manager
- Resolving client queries with minimal input from manager
- Training and mentoring junior colleagues
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA part-qualified/finalist
- Experience in accountancy practice preparing sets of accounts
- Client-facing experience
- Up-to-date working knowledge of VAT
- Experience with Sage, Xero, and Quickbooks Online
