Your New Role

As the Business Systems Manager, your primary focus will be on optimising and elevating the SAP B1 system while working with the wider IT team to integrate newly acquired companies.

You'll work closely with senior leaders to ensure that IT strategies drive business success and enhance operational efficiency. This is your chance to leverage your systems expertise, taking ownership for system maintenance, report design, process re-engineering, project management, and supporting the IT Director to ensure successful delivery of the organisations wider IT strategy to spearhead continuous improvement and innovation.
You will craft and support both operational and strategic reports that provide actionable insights, partner with leadership to align IT initiatives with the company's overarching goals and champion business process re-engineering and drive innovations that enhance operational excellence.
In addition, you will participate in planning and execution of technical system/ database maintenance including system configuration changes, lifecycle/ performance management and customisations as required.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To excel, you'll bring a robust technical background in SAP B1 and SQL, paired with a proven track record in business process re-engineering and demonstrate project management skills.
We are looking for someone from a Business Systems or Application Support background able to demonstrate their knowledge relating to SAP B1.
You will be able to manage complex projects and your commitment to delivering high-quality results will set you apart. You will work alongside a strong data analyst to perform data migration activities using SSRS and SSIS.

Key Competencies:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP B1 and SQL is essential (experience in SAP FSM and Coresuite being highly desirable).
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT projects from inception to completion.
  • Windows Server Technologies: Strong operational experience with Windows server technologies.
  • Confidentiality: Consistent adherence to high standards of confidentiality.

Key Personal Requirements:

  • Relevant IT qualifications and experience in a similar role.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally across the UK and Ireland for on-site meetings. (Around once a month)
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and driven to achieve excellence.
