Network Engineer

DK Recruitment are recruiting for two Network Engineers to join our client who are a leading ISP based Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client at a very exciting time to be part of a large data centre migration project. This is a full roll out of a new data centre and decommissioning of the old networks. This a project focussed role with a small element of BAU support involved to assist the network operations centre.

Experience/Duties

  • Participate in projects to implement changes to the core network in a safe and timely manner.
  • Encourage and contribute to the ongoing development of our NOC team, acting as a role model and providing coaching.
  • Completion of LLD and POC/Lab testing.
  • Participate in a 24x7 call-out rota once you reach the required benchmarks of the role. (supported by escalation)
  • Experience working in an ISP, Telco or other Managed Services environment is essential for this post
  • Excellent knowledge across routing & switching
  • Experience of writing technical documentation

Tech Stack:

BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, Python, Azure DevOPs

CCNP/JNCIS desirable*

Location: Rochdale/ 4 days WFH

  • Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE
