Academics are recruiting for Cover Supervisor in Southwark to assist our local clients with absent teacher cover. We have ad hoc, long-term, and permanent positions available.

We Are Looking For:

Skills & Experience:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills. GCSE grade C/NVQ3 or equivalent in Math and English.
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly orally and in writing with students, parents, and other staff.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An understanding and awareness of child safeguarding.
- Proficient use of technology to support teaching and learning.
Typical Duties:
- Supervising and managing a lesson already set for a class.
- Managing pupil behaviour and implementing the school's behaviour policy.
- Covering a range of different subjects and key stages.
- Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with their work.
- Providing feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues encountered during the class.
