This prestigious freeholder manage their portfolio inhouse and are looking for an experienced property manager to join their residential team.
The role:
- Dealing with tenant queries, inspections, repairs and maintenance issues and making recommendations to resolve issues
- Good AST legislation knowledge.
- Working with facilities and surveying departments to resolve repair issues
- Resolving escalated rent arrears including liaising with solicitors
- Contributing to portfolio reports, management meetings etc
- Assisting with rent reviews, insurance clams
- Reviewing leases to determine repair obligations
- Tenancy administration
- Properties are largely in period style buildings
About you:
- Experience in a similar property management function including good AST management and ideally some exposure to properties in listed buildings
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation including Housing Act, occupier protection and repossession
- Experience of managing repairs, arrears, disputes or breaches of terms, tenancy deposits
- Excellent customer service approach
- Ability to multi-task, pro-active, good time management
