Company: Our client, a nationally known retailer, is seeking an adept Pricing Manager to join their dedicated team.

Role Overview: As a Pricing Manager specialising in Retail Products, you will play a crucial role in driving our client's success by overseeing strategic pricing and margin management across all retail categories. Based at our clients London headquarters, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies, analysing market trends, and ensuring competitive positioning to maximise profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to optimise product margins and competitiveness across all retail categories.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to gauge trends, competitor pricing, and consumer behaviour, informing data-driven pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including buying, merchandising and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives across all retail categories.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, making adjustments as needed to respond to market changes and maximise profitability.
  • Manage pricing databases and ensure accurate and timely updates across all systems and channels.
  • Implement promotional pricing strategies and analyse their impact on sales and profitability.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, regulations, and best practices relevant to pricing in retail categories, driving continual improvement and innovation in pricing processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a pricing role within the retail industry, with demonstrable expertise across various retail categories.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, enabling the translation of data into actionable pricing insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering productive relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Impeccable organisational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively within pricing management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with pricing software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
  • Must be able to work on site 5 days a week at our clients London headquarters.
