My client is a leading brand on the world market, located in Bristol with five divisions in the group offering services to the Garden Retail, Horticulture, Sport, Industrial, and Fencing industries. They are an incredibly fast-growing company with an international presence in both India and Dubai.

As a result of continued growth, they are looking to strengthen the team further by the appointment of an ambitious and driven Marketing Manager.

This is an opportunity with great potential for progression for an ambitious and talented marketing professional.

As part of the development of a talented team, my client is now seeking an experienced and proactive Marketing Manager to work closely with the Marketing Director and take responsibility for the day to day marketing activities of the team across all brands to deliver the long term marketing strategy for the group.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all activities within the marketing department.
  • Taking overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Working closely with external agencies to ensure that they provide cost-effective, timely and focused support.
  • Coordinating and managing mailing lists and marketing databases
  • Creating a monthly report of all marketing activity and key website traffic data.
  • Managing 6 direct to consumer websites
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to create specific offers and landing pages to optimise user experience
  • Overseeing PPC/Affiliate activity strategy including keyword/product focus, profit margin impact and assessing and promoting the most effective partnerships
  • Directing all consumer customer communication including email campaigns, mailings and promotional literature across all brands
  • Managing Consumer Data including analysis and maintenance of mailing lists and ensuring that all data is GDPR compliant.
  • Managing the delivery of an excellent customer experience both on and offline across all consumer brands.
  • Managing the development and maintenance of all consumer websites including engaging and managing third party providers
  • managing ongoing online content strategy for all sites including reviews, product data and graphics.
  • Reporting and analysis of all consumer sales to determine ongoing growth strategy
  • Optimise spend and performance based on Identifying trends and insights in order to devise creative growth strategies
  • Evaluate and manage agencies and other outside suppliers and partners including analysis of performance and spend

Skills Required:

  • Relevant and strong experience within a similar role.
  • The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in managing marketing over a variety of channels within the CPG and luxury brands sector. An understanding of the horticultural or sports industries would be an advantage.
  • Ideally a qualification in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
