Role and Responsibilities: As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support classroom teachers in delivering tailored learning activities.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with personal care needs, where required.
- Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
- Help with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education is a plus.
