About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with students with a range of special educational needs.
- Support the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to help students achieve their full potential.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere to encourage student growth and development.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A caring and patient nature with a genuine passion for supporting children's education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varied needs of our students.
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake necessary training.
To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
