My client in Stratford-upon-Avon is a leading manufacturer and are recruiting for a maintenance engineer with experience in a manufacturing or process environment.
The role
- To ensure the safe operation of all the plant processes to ensure production targets are met
- To ensure all corrective maintenance is done according with the best practices.
- Doing planned and reactive maintenance according to the schedule
- To assist Lead and Process Technicians in the event of plant failure.
- To ensure stock of spares and fittings is kept
- To coordinate contractors performing maintenance or new projects in the plant
Key skills
- Knowledge and experience with planned and corrective maintenance
- Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
- Root cause analysis and problem solving
- Background in a manufacturing or process environment
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering education from City and Guilds, Higher National Certificate level and above
