Permanent Office based position
Commutable from Harrogate, Northallerton, Ripon, York, Knaresborough, Boroughbridge
Hours of Work Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Purchasing Administrator for a company based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
Duties
- The daily running of the department
- Import and export clearance management
- Working with supply chain on ERP ensuring raw material availability and stock accuracy
- Purchasing planning, placing orders
- Purchasing tracking,
- Expediting orders where required
- Obtaining/Negotiating price and terms & conditions
- Dealing with supplier invoice queries
- Maintaining Suppliers Database
- Working with regulatory and quality teams on product and supplier approval
- Development of good relations with the existing and new suppliers
- Dealing with supplier complaints
- Liaising with relevant departments
- Any other duties as requested by management.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum of 3 years (or equivalent) in similar role
- Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft office Packages
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to show initiative and demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Be a strong team player with ability to work on cross functional teams and projects
- An ability to work on own initiative and to work collaboratively with others
