Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a client in Central West Yorkshire who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for a full-time position (part-time will be considered). This is an office-based role and are looking for someone to join as soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with month end processes
- Manage bank reconciliation
- Manage cash book
- Inter-bank transfers
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Reconcile receipts from bank statement and create schedule for processing
- Update and maintain fixed asset register
- Set up payments from the bank
- Help establish new finance structure systems and processes
You will need to demonstrate:
- Experience within a similar position
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Open to change within your role
- Good level of Excel skills
- Good eye for detail
