My client is looking for a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a busy, dedicated and fun team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate calculation of statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP
- Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date payroll records and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Assist with year-end processes including P60s and P11Ds
- Process payroll deductions such as PAYE, National Insurance, and student loans
- Support HR with payroll-related tasks and data entry
- Prepare and distribute payslips to employees
- Conduct regular audits of payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
- Great customer service skills, with the ability to resolve queries in a friendly and efficient manner
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Adaptable and willing to learn new systems and processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
Salary Range & Benefits:
The salary for this Payroll Administrator role is negotiable depending on experience. In addition, the company offers an attractive benefits package including 25 days holiday plus banks. Hybrid working after initial training.
